My office/creative space: Love It!

This is my adorable office. The desk had me at...two slide out desk surfaces.  My husband painted it out with a white pearl finish and I love it.  My office is every evolving and will ever fight the evils of a catch all, but it is my creative space and I flourish there.

Teaching, Happy Accidents and White Paint

As a teacher of preschoolers, I find that it requires high joyful energy, the ability to manage the unpredictable, and the organization to make each moment a teachable moment. On a nother note, I am all of 4ft 10 inches short and I like to be around people who are forced to look up to me. :)

Whenever I do a skills test there is a secret hope inside of me that says, "Don't say teacher, don't say teacher, say rock star or entreprenuer or highly valued member of society."  But no, teacher it is.  The fact is, I do love to teach.  I love sharing information.  I love figuring stuff out or having a cool idea but even that pales in comparison to my desire to share it.  I love that learning is falling down and success is mostly the fact that you got back up.  I think that's why I love art so much.  It is full of happy accidents that turn into sheer joy.  Even if my mistakes turn out to be more on the accident side then on the happy side, I can still have a do over. There's no terrible art that can't be fixed with a nice coat of white paint (for the most part).  Well, onward I go...teaching, falling and coating myself in white paint.  We all need to know that life is full of getting back up, we all need to decide to love our life.
